    "methodology": "The OpenCodelists Snomed browser was searched using the following terms\n\n\n- anticoagulant\n- apixaban\n- doac\n- edoxaban*\n- rivaroxaban\n\n\nAll codes that indicated an explicit contraindication to DOACs were included. Non\\-specific codes such as `anticoagulation contraindicated NOS` were not included.\n\n\n*Edoxaban does not appear to have explicit contraindications whereas the other DOACs do.\n\n",
