    "methodology": "Identified from intial search terms outside of OpenCodelists: post\\-trauma\" \"post trauma\" \"postraumatic\" \"ptsd\" \"flashback\" nightmare\" \"combat\" \"shell\\-shock\" \"shell shock\"\n\n\nClearly irrelevant codes excluded (with review by a second clinician)\n\n\nCandidate codelist reviewed outside OpenCodelists by two clinicians. As we reviewed our candidate codelist outside openCodelists, we did not benefit from the tree structures that might have identified additional codes. However, we assume that these are likely to be codes that are not used frequently, e.g., eponymous syndromes.\n\n\nOnly retained codes that clearly related to some sort of post\\-traumatic response. Excluded symptoms that may be related to PTSD that did not specify they were related to post\\-stress reaction.\n\n",
