An autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome that results from defective lymphocyte homoestasis, and is caused by variants in the FAS gene. It is characterized by non-malignant lymphoproliferation, autoimmune disease, and lifelong increased risk for both Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
