    Please note: this codelist was developed for use with the General Practice Extraction Service Data for Pandemic Planning and Research (GDPPR) dataset. The GDPPR dataset only includes a subset of all SNOMED codes, hence this codelist may not be appropriate for use with other datasets. The codes in this codelist come from version 47.1 of the QOF cluster list. If you are re-using this codelist with the GDPPR dataset, please note that the QOF cluster list is regularly updated. We recommend that you review this codelist with respect to the latest version of the QOF cluster list.

    We identified an existing SNOMED codelist for myocardial infarction (http://phenotypes.healthdatagateway.org/phenotypes/PH942/version/2120/detail/). This codelist was developed for use with the GDPPR dataset, however it was based on an earlier version of the PCD reference set. We adapted this codelist for use in our study by reviewing the codes, excluding codes that were not relevant to our study (e.g. codes for history of MI instead of current MI), and adding additional relevant codes from version 49.1 of the QOF cluster list (which was the most recent version at the time of developing the this codelist).
