  3. Methodology

    This codelist was developed based on methodology used in the DataLab paper on trends and variation in unsafe prescribing of methotrexate published in the British Journal of General Practice. All oral methotrexate preparations from chapter 10 of BNF codes were included although the vast majority of prescriptions will be for tablets.
