    List of all codes related to heart failure, to exclude people with previous history or evidence of heart failure. This includes not only diagnoses, but heart failure-related medication reviews or management plans.

    This list is meant to be very broad, and is not to be used to identify new diagnoses.

    JJL - I excluded foetal and neonatal as this study is of adults.

  3. Methodology

    Used all codes included in NHSD Primary Care Domain heart failure refsets (https://www.opencodelists.org/codelist/nhsd-primary-care-domain-refsets/?q\=heart+failure), and added all relevant child codes. Searched for "heart failure" and included all missing relevant codes. Codes related to fetal / neonatal heart failure, suspected heart failure, family history of heart failure, and at risk for heart failure excluded.
